# Most-read research ideas

The research idea notes people read most since the counting started on 2026-10-28, by page views and by AI assistants fetching them for their users. Updated four times a day. Reads are counted from the server's access log: a page view is a browser opening the note's page (a navigation by a browser that does not call itself a bot, once per address and day), and an AI assistant read is a fetch of the note or its Markdown version by an assistant acting for a person (ChatGPT-User, Claude-User, Perplexity-User and the like). Search engine and AI crawlers, monitors and other bots are left out. Only the counts are kept.
